I was admitted into Sussex County after breaking my neck. I was under the care of Mr. Al-Mahfoudh. He explained what I had done and that the break was unstable. He put me totally at ease with the situation by the way he spoke to me and with his jovial manner talking to me like he had known me for a long time and explaining the operation he would have to do for me. he gave me the feeling that he had all the time in the world for me and was not in a rush to get to his next patient even though i am sure he was very busy. I cannot praise this man enough and will always be so grateful to him for repairing my neck successfully as without his care and compassion I could have been paralysed. Thank you once again Mr. Al-Mahfoudh

What can I say this man gave me back my life when I thought I would hardly be able to walk again , the future was looking very bleak . Everything was explain to me in a clear and friendly manor as having surgery to decompress L4/L5 can have its complications .This wonderful man even can in to perform the surgery over Easter and I will be ever thankful to him and all the staff at Brighton who were very supportive and caring . Now I can walk and move around with no pain as normal which is something I never expected to be able to do again ,also very happy to report all other things are working again as normal, nudge nudge wink wink ,which is wonderful for me and my partner 1 Thank You so much Mr Rafid Al-Mahfoudh

...improve, how? He is the most amazing doctor. He is kind, caring, professional in every way you will always feel at ease with him. Before surgery he talks to you in a very caring manner and post surgery he visits you on the ward. What can I say I was terrified but I needn't have been. I work in a hospital but he is the best doctor I have come across.

Mr Al-Mahfoudh performed surgery on myself in November, from my first consultation he explained everything from what could go wrong and what I would feel like if the operation were to be a success. He put my wife's and my mind at ease throughout the consultation. I found before and after the spinal surgery he kept me at ease, always answering any questions I had. Now in February 2016,3 months later my back is feeling so much better after he performed a PLIFF. Thank you Mr Stuart Eaves
